Personal: Marykate Roder, a Kansas City native and graduate of St. Teresa's Academy, has excelled academically and athletically throughout her high school career. She earned First Honors all four years while competing in varsity volleyball and lacrosse, with recognition for All-State Academics.

Coming from a family with strong athletic ties, her father, Brian Roder, played baseball at Benedictine College from 1989 to 1993, and her brother, Charlie, continued the tradition at Drury University from 2020 to 2024. She shares her passion for sports with her siblings, Anne, Dean, Brad, Glenn, and Rick Roder, as well as Katie and Molly Jones.

Beyond school and sports, Marykate enjoys going to concerts, playing golf, and hitting the pickleball courts. She admires athletes like Lexi Rodriguez, Alex Gordon, and Alex Morgan, and proudly supports her hometown teams, the Kansas City Chiefs, Royals, and KC Current.
