Biography

Personal: Ireland Van Stone, a Carpentersville, IL native, excelled both academically and athletically at Harry D. Jacobs High School, where she played for the Golden Eagles. She is the daughter of Chris and Kim Van Stone and has two siblings, Teagan and Rylee.
A dedicated student, Ireland graduated Summa Cum Laude and was recognized as an AAU Academic All-American. On the volleyball court, she was a 2X Fox Valley All-Conference selection, earned First-Team All-Area honors from the Daily Herald in 2021-22, and was named Northwest Herald Athlete of the Week on 11/6/21. Her high school team also claimed the 2021-2022 State Regional Championship.
Her club volleyball career was equally impressive—she was named Top Flight Volleyball Club Athlete of the Year (2021-22), Senior of the Year (2021-22), and Junior of the Year (2020-2021), as well as a 2X AAU medalist.
Outside of volleyball, Ireland loves traveling and going to the beach. A dedicated sports fan, she supports all Philadelphia teams.
