Quincy University Hawks

Personal: Avery Taylor, from Lebanon, Tennessee, is a graduate of Friendship Christian School, where she starred for the Commanders. She excelled both on and off the court, serving as a Student Council Representative and a member of the National Honor Society. Her athletic accomplishments include earning a spot on the District All-Tournament Team and helping lead her team to the Division II Class A District 4 Championship. The daughter of Courtenay and Amy Taylor, Avery has one sibling, Garrett. Outside of athletics, she enjoys working out, playing pickleball, traveling, and exploring her love of photography. Her favorite athlete is Leah Edmond, and she cheers for the Atlanta Braves.

Why QU?
I chose QU because I wanted to attend a university where both academics and athletics were important. I wanted to attend a smaller university where I would be able to get to know my professors on a deeper level. I also wanted to find an athletic program that felt like a family, and after spending time with the coaches and players, I feel I have found my home.
