Biography

Career (2022–25): Despite multiple seasons shortened by injury, Pavan cemented her legacy as one of the all-time greats in a Quincy uniform over her four-year career. She appeared in 68 matches and 245 sets, totaling 631 kills (2.58 per set), 56 service aces (0.23 per set), 148 digs, and 255.0 total blocks (73 solo, 182 assisted; 1.04 per set), finishing with 851.0 career points (3.47 per set). Pavan became the first player in Quincy women’s volleyball history during the GLVC era to earn AVCA All-America honors as a sophomore and the third player in program history to be named Freshman of the Year.

2025 (Senior): In her senior season, Pavan’s year was cut short by injury in the eighth match of the campaign. In those eight matches, she appeared in 28 sets and recorded 54 kills (1.93 per set) while hitting .315. She also added 15 digs and 14.0 total blocks (five solo, nine assisted), totaling 75.5 points (2.70 per set).

2023 (Sophomore): Pavan built off her freshman season with an even better sophomore season, becoming the first player in Quincy women's volleyball history in the GLVC era to make an AVCA All-American team. Alice did it all on the floor through 29 games and 110 matches, totaling 332 kills (3.91 K/S), 20 service aces, 55 digs, and 120 total blocks (1.09 B/S). She was sixth in Division II with a 0.416 hitting percentage and led the GLVC for the second consecutive season with 36 solo blocks. Alice had 17 games with double-digit kills, including a 21-kill game against Truman State (9/29/23), and had her second career nine-block game against Maryville (9/23/23).

2022 (Freshman): Alice became the third-ever GLVC Freshman of the year with a fantastic season with the Hawks. She appeared and started in all 31 games for QU, where she had 245 kills (2.29 K/S), 24 service aces, 78 digs, and a team-leading 121 total blocks (1.13 B/S) for a total of 345.5 points. Alice had a hitting percentage of 0.388, which led the GLVC, and was 12th in Division II. She also led the GLVC with 32 solo blocks. Pavan made her collegiate debut against Kentucky Wesleyan (8/26/22), where she had three kills, three service aces, and three total blocks. Her season-high in kills came in a three-set win over Trevecca Nazarene (10/14/22), where she had 16 kills on 20 attempts. She also had 11 games with five or more total blocks, including a nine-block game in a victory over Ursuline (9/3/22).

Personal: Alice is a native of Mira, Italy, where she graduated from Liceo Scientifico Sportivo Galileo Galilei. She is the daughter of Massimo Pavan and Caterina Spigariol and the sister of Pietro.
