Personal: Adina Ortiz, from Chicago, Illinois, attended Taft High School, where she was an accomplished athlete for the Eagles. She is the daughter of Marlin and Jorge Ortiz and has a sibling, Jorge Ortiz. Throughout high school, Adina excelled academically as an IB student, demonstrating her dedication to education alongside her athletic commitments. She was a 2-sport varsity athlete in soccer and volleyball. Her efforts were recognized when she earned the MVP award for her high school volleyball team, a testament to her skill and leadership on the court. Outside of sports, Adina enjoys coloring, baking, and spending time at the beach. Her favorite sports team is the Chicago Cubs.

Why QU?
I chose QU because of their successful volleyball program. The program is very tight and it feels like family.
