Biography
Personal: SaVaughn Pickett is a native of St. Louis, Missouri, and a graduate of Duchesne High School. She is the daughter of Sheryl Block-Pickett and Micheal Pickett Jr. and was a multi-sport athlete throughout her high school career, competing in basketball, volleyball, and track and field.
On the track, Pickett made her mark by setting the school record in the girls’ javelin, establishing herself as one of the top throwers in program history. Her versatility across multiple sports reflects her athleticism, work ethic, and competitive drive.
Outside of athletics, Pickett enjoys drawing, listening to music, and cooking. Her favorite athlete is A’ja Wilson, and she supports the Texas Longhorns, Memphis Grizzlies, and North Carolina.
