Quincy University Hawks

Personal: Ariaa Sheth, from Mumbai, India, attended RN Podar School and is the daughter of Himanshuu and Aditti Sheth, with a sibling, Ssaumya Sheth. A dedicated athlete, she was elected as the school’s Vice Games Captain in grade 9 and later served as Games Captain in grade 10. Her exceptional talent in sports earned her the Best Sportswoman award in high school, and she is also a national-level sea swimmer.

Beyond athletics, Ariaa has made a significant social impact through various initiatives. She swam 5 kilometers to raise funds for mental health awareness and has volunteered with the AngelXpress Foundation, where she taught English to underprivileged children. Additionally, during the COVID-19 pandemic, she helped raise funds to provide food for thousands of migrant mothers and their children. Her dedication to both sports and social causes highlights her leadership, resilience, and commitment to making a difference.

Why QU?
I chose QU because the coaches and professors take personal interest in all their students. QU is also heavily involved with athletics and that is what further strenghtened my decision to commit to QU.
