Personal: Analiese Hancock is from Yuma, Arizona, and attended Gila Ridge High School, where she was a standout swimmer for the Hawks. She is the daughter of Joseph and Sara Hancock and has one sibling, Marcus. A strong student leader, Analiese served on the Student Council for two and a half years and earned an All-Academic Award for maintaining a 4.0 GPA in one semester.
In the pool, Analiese was a dominant presence throughout her high school career. She earned All-Region honors as a sophomore, junior, and senior and qualified for the Arizona Division I State Championships each year. As a freshman, she qualified in three relays. During her sophomore year, she advanced individually in the 200 freestyle and 100 breaststroke and competed in two relays. In her junior year, she reached the finals in the 100 breaststroke and qualified again in the 200 IM and two relays. As a senior, she returned to state in two individual events and one relay.
Analiese holds school records in the 100 Breaststroke and 200 IM, along with being part of record-setting relay teams in the 400 and 200 freestyle. Her personal bests include a 25.36 in the 50 Free SCY and a 1:07.57 in the 100 Breast SCY. She ranked 48th in Arizona for the Class of 2025. Her accolades also include being named October 2022’s Female Student-Athlete of the Month, receiving the Newcomer Award as a freshman, and being named Female MVP and Varsity Elite Athlete for three consecutive years.
Outside of athletics, Analiese enjoys working out at the gym, creating art, and spending time with family and friends. She is the proud daughter of a retired Army Green Beret and an educator, and she draws inspiration from athletes like Caleb Dressel and Corbin Carroll. Her favorite sports teams are the New York Yankees and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
