Biography

2024-25 (Junior): In his first season with the Hawks, Bocher appeared in 24 games and made two starts, where he averaged 6.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 0.7 assists. He was second on the team with 16 blocks and fifth on the team with 25 steals. His season high in points came against Lewis (2/27/25) when he scored 25 points on 8-11 shooting and 9-13 from the free throw line. Bocher led the team in rebounds for four different games and led the team in steals six different times. He was also efficient from the field, shooting .548 percent (46-84).

2023-24 (Sophomore at Kishwaukee CC): In 31 games, Bocher averaged 21.4 points, 9.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists. He shot a scorching .628 percent from the field (241-384) and .748 percent from the foul line (181-242). Bocher was also impactful on the defensive end, averaging 1.8 blocks and 1.8 steals. Bocher had a career night against Carl Sandburg College (2/13/24), scoring 31 points, hauling in 20 rebounds, and dishing out four assists. He even had three steals and four blocks.

2021-22 (Freshman at Kishwaukee CC): As a freshman, Bocher averaged 19.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists through 25 games. He shot a shop .605 percent from the field (188-311) and .764 percent from the charity stripe (110-144). He had a career-high of 42 points against McHenry County College (11/23/22), shooting 16-24 from the field and 9-9 from the line.

Personal: Bocher is from Kewaskum, Wisconsin, where he attended Kewaskum High School. Standing at 6’6, Joshua spent his first two seasons at Kishwaukee Community College, where he put together two fantastic seasons. In his freshman year, he averaged 19.5 points and 7.8 rebounds. Joshua improved in his sophomore season, averaging almost a double-double with 21.4 points and 9.9 rebounds. Bocher was selected for All-Region and All-Conference teams in both seasons. Bocher is the son of Kim and Mark Bocher and has seven total siblings. His favorite NBA team is the Milwaukee Bucks, and his favorite player is Giannis Antetokounmpo.
