2024 (Freshman): In her freshman season, Shelby appeared in eight games, making her collegiate debut against Northern Michigan (2/18/24). She recorded five ground balls, two caused turnovers, and one draw control throughout the eight games. Lloyd scooped up her first ground ball against Ottawa (2/25/24), where she picked up a season-high four.

Personal: Shelby Lloyd, from Kalamazoo, attended Mattawan High School, where she excelled in lacrosse. She was recognized as the Best Defense and MVP for lacrosse, showcasing her athletic talent and leadership on the field. Coming from a sports-oriented family, her brother, Zachary, played lacrosse for two years at Lewis University. She also has two other siblings, Aliah and Melissa. Shelby is the daughter of Vinee and Mark Lloyd.

Beyond lacrosse, Shelby enjoys working out and follows sports closely, as her favorite athletes are Charlotte North, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Brooklyn Neuman. She is an avid supporter of Auburn and Notre Dame football, as well as Northwestern women's lacrosse.
