Quincy University Hawks

Career (2023-26): Chatman spent four seasons with the Hawks, appearing in 42 games with 31 starts. She totaled 10 points on nine goals and one assist while putting 18 of her 27 shots on goal. Chatman added 35 ground balls, 18 caused turnovers, and two draw controls during her career. She also recorded one game-winning goal, one woman-up goal, and two multi-goal performances.

2026 (Senior): Chatman appeared in all 17 games with 15 starts during her senior season with the Hawks. She totaled six points on five goals and one assist while putting 10 of her 13 shots on goal.

Chatman also added 11 ground balls and eight caused turnovers on the season. She recorded the first assist of her collegiate career against Benedictine (2/15/26) and later posted a multi-goal performance in Quincy’s win over William Jewell (4/12/26).

2025 (Junior): Chatman started all 16 games during her junior season with the Hawks, becoming a consistent presence in Quincy’s lineup. She recorded 18 ground balls, six caused turnovers, and two draw controls. Chatman also scored her lone goal of the season in Quincy’s 12-11 season-opening victory over Davenport (2/8/25).

2024 (Sophomore): Chatman appeared in five games during her sophomore season with the Hawks, recording two goals, four ground balls, and two caused turnovers. Chatman’s top performance came against Ottawa (2/25/24), where she scored both goals for the first multi-goal game of her career. One of those goals also marked the first game-winner of her collegiate career.

2023 (Freshman): Chatman appeared in four games during her freshman season with the Hawks, recording one goal, two ground balls, and two caused turnovers. Chatman made her collegiate debut against West Virginia Wesleyan (3/25/23), scoring the first goal of her career in the same game.

Personal: Jaynie Chatman travels up the Mississippi from St. Louis, Missouri. The graphic design/marking major went to Rosati-Kain High School and is the daughter of Joe and Jill Chatman and has two siblings, Taylor and Jackson. Her father wrestled at Missouri State, finishing his time as a Bear as co-captain, and her brother plays basketball at Kishwaukee College. Her favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant.
