Quincy University Hawks

Personal: Miranda Kraan, from Temple, Texas, attended Temple High School, where she was an active member of the Wildcats community. The daughter of Naomi and Jon Kraan, she has two siblings, David and Mia. Academically, Miranda excelled with one of the top 10 GPAs in her class and was a member of the National Honor Society. She also contributed to her school as a welcomer and tour guide.

A lifelong swimmer, Miranda earned recognition as Swimmer of the Year and continued her athletic career in college while also joining the bowling team. Bowling has been a family tradition, as both of her parents bowled in leagues, giving her plenty of early experience. Outside of sports, she enjoys visual arts and crocheting. Her favorite athletes are Regan Smith and Ryan Murphy.

Why QU?
I chose QU because I really like the close community and how friendly everyone is. When I came to visit QU and meet the swim team, everyone I met was so kind, and I could tell how close of a family they were and how much they cared for one another.
