2024-25 (Redshirt Sophomore): In her third season, Runsewe appeared in 11 games for a total of 29 minutes. She scored 11 points and brought down one rebound.

2023-24 (Sophomore): Appeared in five games before season was cut short to injury. Recorded 12 points and four rebounds.

2022-23 (Freshman): Played in 16 games as a freshman, scoring 36 points and recording ten rebounds, two blocks, and four steals.Â

Personal: Sydney comes from DeLaSalle High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she was a four-time letter winner in basketball. A 1,000-point scorer, she averaged 18.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.8 steals, 1.4 assists, and 1.2 blocks per game during her junior season. She is a two-time All-Conference selection, an All-State Honorable Mention, and is ranked among the Top 25 players in Minnesota by Minnesota Prep Girls Hoops. Sydney helped lead DeLaSalle to a state championship in 2019 and was part of the 2020 team that was named Co-State Champions after the season was cut short due to the pandemic. She is the daughter of Afolabi and Tracy Runsewe.

I chose QU because of its smaller campus, everyone was very welcoming, and I wanted to be a part of the basketball program.
