Biography

2025-26 (Sophomore at Parkland Community College): Vonderheide started all 31 games during her sophomore season at Parkland Community College. She averaged 14.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 2.0 steals per game.

Vonderheide shot 60.4 percent from the field, going 198-for-328, while connecting on 41.5 percent from 3-point range and shooting 82.4 percent from the free throw line. She also totaled four blocks on the season.

Vonderheide scored in double figures 22 times, including nine games with 20 or more points. She scored a season-high 29 points against Jackson College (12/6/25), shooting 12-for-13 from the field. Vonderheide pulled down double-digit rebounds nine times, recorded seven double-doubles, and had two or more steals in 18 games.

2024-25 (Freshman at Parkland Community College): Vonderheide started all 28 games during her freshman season at Parkland Community College. She averaged 13.7 points, 9.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.9 steals per game.

Vonderheide shot 53.5 percent from the field, going 160-for-299, while connecting on 11 3-pointers and shooting 76.5 percent from the free throw line. She also totaled 10 blocks on the season.

Vonderheide made her collegiate debut against Bryant & Stratton College (11/9/24), finishing with 18 points, nine rebounds, and a season-high six steals. She scored in double figures 19 times, including a season-high 42 points on 16-for-20 shooting against Rock Valley College (11/20/24). Vonderheide pulled down double-digit rebounds 11 times, including a season-high 16 rebounds on three occasions, and recorded nine double-doubles.

Personal: Vonderheide is from Stewardson, Illinois, and attended St. Anthony High School, where she competed for the Bulldogs.

Before coming to Quincy, Vonderheide spent two seasons at Parkland Community College. She is the daughter of Brock and Jamie Vonderheide and has five siblings, Kassie, Samuel, William, Jackie, and Luke. Vonderheide was a member of the National Honor Society, earned High Honor Roll recognition as a junior and senior, and was involved in History Club, Pep Club, and Women of Worth.

During her high school career, Vonderheide was a multi-sport athlete, competing in basketball, softball, volleyball, cross country, and track and field. She was named EDN Co-Basketball Player of the Year, EDN Female Athlete of the Year, NTC MVP, and earned First Team All-State honors. She also helped St. Anthony win NTC championships in basketball, softball, track and field, and cross country.

Vonderheide set the school record for most points in a game with 53 and was also part of the school-record 4x800-meter relay team.

Away from the court, Vonderheide enjoys hiking, swimming, journaling, yoga, and scrapbooking. Her favorite athlete is Larry Bird, while her favorite teams are the St. Louis Cardinals and Michigan State men’s basketball.
