Biography

Personal: Haleigh Winter is a native of Lagrange, Missouri, and a graduate of Highland High School. She is the daughter of Nick and Jessica Garkie and Jon and Shanna Winter and has five siblings, Haddie, Juniper, Dakota, Ivy, and Everley. Winter was highly involved on campus, participating in Student Council, Science Club, History Club, and FCCLA.

A standout on the softball field, Winter helped lead Highland High School to the 2024 Class 2 Missouri State Championship. She holds the school records for home runs and career RBIs, cementing her place as one of the program’s top offensive performers.

Outside of athletics, Winter enjoys crocheting.
