2019-2020 (Redshirt-Freshman): Appeared in seven games and recorded two points and 15 rebounds (2.1 RPG). Collected a total of six assists, two steals, and one block.
Background:
Earhart is a Manhattan, KS native and is studying elementary education at Quincy University. Emily is the daughter of Michael and Nora and has two siblings, Zachary (27) and Wyatt (19). Earhart stems from an athletic family; her uncle Elwyn Dees ran Track & Field (1934-1938) at Kansas University for the Jayhawks. Her father Michael played football at Memphis State, and her older brother Zachary runs track and field and cross country at Cloud County. Her younger brother Wyatt plays football at Quincy University.
Emily played at Riley County High School under Falcons' Coach Harold Oliver. Earhart earned a 3.8 GPA and graduated in May 2018. She also earned Academic All-League honors four times, and was the KMAN student athlete of the week her senior year. Earhart was a member of the art & culture clubs along with being involed with SADD. Earned four varsity letters in basketball and track & field for the Falcons. Earhart won the 3A Substate Championship in 2017 on the hardwood. Earhart earned multiple accolades during her senior year including First Team All-Region (Flint Hills) and All-State (3A) Honorable Mention honors. Furthermore, Earhart broke a school record in the track Pentathlon during her junior year.
