Quincy University Hawks

Career (2023-26): Bruggeman spent four seasons with the Hawks, appearing in 63 games with 47 starts. She totaled six points on five goals and one assist while putting seven of her nine shots on goal. Bruggeman was a steady contributor throughout her career, recording 55 ground balls, 24 caused turnovers, and 19 draw controls. She also finished with one free-position goal and two woman-up goals.

2026 (Senior): Bruggeman started all 16 games during her senior season with the Hawks, continuing to be a consistent presence in Quincy’s lineup. She scored four goals for four points while putting five of her seven shots on goal. Bruggeman also added 14 ground balls, six caused turnovers, and one draw control on the season. One of her four goals came in woman-up play.

2025 (Junior): Bruggeman started all 14 games during her junior season with the Hawks, continuing to be a steady presence defensively. She ranked third on the team with 22 ground balls while also adding 10 caused turnovers and 11 draw controls. Bruggeman also scored her lone goal of the season against Missouri Western (4/5/25).

2024 (Sophomore): Bruggeman appeared in 18 games with nine starts during her sophomore season with the Hawks. She recorded two ground balls, two caused turnovers, and two draw controls. Bruggeman also scored the first goal of her collegiate career against Ashland (3/13/24), finding the back of the net on her only shot of the season.

2023 (Freshman): Bruggeman appeared in 15 games with eight starts during her freshman season with the Hawks. She recorded eight ground balls, three caused turnovers, one draw control, and one assist. Bruggeman made her collegiate debut against Concordia-St. Paul (2/12/23) and earned her first career start against Maryville (2/19/23). She recorded the first point of her career with an assist in Quincy’s 13-12 win over Palm Beach Atlantic (3/13/23).

Personal: Bruggeman joins the Hawks from Omaha, Nebraska, where she attended Omaha Burke High School. Elise is the daughter of Susan and Robert Bruggeman and the sister of Ian.
