Nathan Daume

Nathan Daume is entering his fifth season with head coach Jeni Garber as part of the Quincy University women's basketball program coaching staff. Daume has over 19 years of coaching experience including time as both an assistant and head coach.

Daume comes to Quincy after serving as the assistant coach at Florida Gulf Coast University for the last three years. At Florida Gulf Coast Daume helped the team in their transition from the Division II level to the Division I level, finishing 24-7 last season.

Daume served as the head coach at Hutchinson Community College for five seasons, where he compiled a 97-59 overall record and coached a 2008 Olympian in Natalie Purcell. Daume got his first head coaching job at Fort Scott Community College, where he put together a 63-62 record from 1998 until 2002 and coached another future Olympian in Noni Wharemate.

Daume began his coaching career as a student assistant with the University of Missouri men's basketball program from 1994-96 before moving onto Fort Scott where he was an assistant coach from 1996-98 prior to being named head coach.

Daume graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor's degree in Education in 1994.
