Kelly Kielsmeier is in his third season (2021-22) as the Associate Head Coach for the Quincy University women's basketball program.
Kielsmeier came to QU after spending the 2018-19 season as the Associate Head Coach at Upper Iowa.
Prior to Upper Iowa, Kielsmeier served ten years as the top assistant coach with the Wayne State College women’s basketball program.Â

During his time at Wayne State, the Wildcats posted a 237-72 record and made five NCAA Tournament appearances (2010,’11,’12,’14,’15). In 2012 they went 32-3 and made the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight, the best finish in program history. He was part of 5 NSIC Championship teams, won the NSIC Post Season Tournament twice, and was part of 7 seasons of 20+ wins.
As a recruiter, he recruited 19 NSIC All-Conference selections, a DII Bulletin National Player of the Year and 36 NSIC All-Academic selections.Â
