Brooke Bailey

Brooke Bailey enters her second season as the head assistant coach of the Hawks for the 2024-25 season. 

Bailey joins the Hawks after two successful years as an assistant coach at Hillsdale College (2021-2023). In her two seasons, Bailey helped the team to a nine-win improvement and a GMAC Tournament berth in her second season, the first time the Chargers had made it the since the 2018-2019 season. 
 
Bailey is no stranger to GLVC basketball, having played an illustrious four years at Truman State University. Bailey was a three-year starter and two-year team captain as a Bulldog. She is tied for second in career games played (115). Bailey led the Bulldogs to a program-best 23 wins and a berth to the NCAA tournament her senior year.
 
After graduating from Truman State in 2019, Bailey got the professional nod to go to Edinburgh, Scotland, and play basketball for the Caledonia Pride, a member of the Women's British Basketball League. Bailey was the starting point guard and team captain for her lone professional season on Scotland's only professional women's basketball team.
 
Bailey also served as a Tournament Operations Staff Member for both the U.S. Junior National Basketball and Team Iowa Athletics Tournaments in the summer of 2020.
 
Bailey graduated from Truman State in 2019 with a B.S. in Health Science and completed a Master's of Science in Strength and Conditioning at the University of Edinburgh while playing professionally with the Pride.
