Quincy University Hawks

Personal: Josey spent her first year at Lincoln Land Community College before transferring over to be a Hawk. She is from Winchester, Illinois, where she went to Winchester High School and had a great impact athletically and academically. Miller was a cheerleader for four years at Winchester and an All-American Cheerleader for three of them. She was a member of Gem City's competition tumbling team for three years, where she was a state champion and a national qualifier all three years. It was not all athletics for Josey, as she was a part of the Key Club, the Student Council, and the National Honors Society. She is a very adventurous person who also loves to stay in and read or watch movies.

Why QU?
I spontaneously decided to visit Quincy University when looking at four-year universities to transfer. QU has a very welcoming atmosphere and truly makes you feel as if you belong there. Quincy has always been a second home to me after tumbling at Gem City for three years. It is the perfect distance from home, and I feel that if I ever need anything, I will be able to find it.
