Biography

Personal: Hailey McKinney, from Liberty, Illinois, is a graduate of Liberty High School, where she was an Eagle. She is the daughter of Erika and Adam McKinney and has two siblings, Audrey and Braelyn. Excelling academically, Hailey was the valedictorian of her class, a National Honor Society member, and a four-time recipient of the SAA Award, in addition to earning department awards in math, history, and science. She was heavily involved in leadership, serving as FFA secretary and class secretary during her junior year, and also graduated from the University of Illinois Youth Leadership Academy. Athletically, Hailey was a four-year varsity member of both the volleyball and cheerleading teams. Outside of school, she enjoys serving at her church, reading, going to the gym, weight training, and learning about nutrition. Her favorite athlete is Andi Jackson, and she enjoys watching Nebraska Volleyball. Hailey also serves as a junior high and high school small group leader at The Crossing Church and hopes to use her degree to design programs that help people improve mobility and overall health.
