Her mother, Kim, competed in softball, volleyball, and basketball, while her father, John, played basketball. She also has two siblings, Stanley and Jacob.

Why QU?
I had always thought that QU was the place for me, but my parents were worried it was just because I had heard the stories about their days there. I had grown up going to campus and to Quincy throughout childhood since our really good family friends lived there. It is familiar, and when I finally began looking at a place to call home to further my dreams and my education, I knew Quincy was the place for me. No college or university was as invested in me as Quincy was, and no college or university was as welcoming as Quincy. I chose QU because it feels like home.
