Quincy University Hawks

2021 (Sophomore): Appeared in 34 games, making 28 starts. Accumulated 14 hits in 82 at bats. Drove in 8 RBIs, while scoring 8 runs.

2020 (Freshman): Appeared in 15 games while making 12 starts. Accumulated a total of seven hits in 35 at bats with two doubles, and ended with a team high three home runs and eight RBIs. 

Background:
Ruzicka is a Canton, GA native and is a Biology Pre-Medical major at Quincy University. Ruzicka is the daughter of Blair and Kelsey and has two siblings Mallory (15), and Landon (21). Ruzicka is a graduate of Creekview High School, where she ended with a 4.0 GPA. Ruzicka was in the National Honor’s Society, the Lamp of Knowledge, and a Beta Club inductee. Ruzicka earned four varsity letters playing as a middle infielder and outfielder and won a state title and was nominated as the defensive player of the year in 2018. Ruzicka also won a regional title as a track athlete. 

Why I chose QU
My first exposure to Quincy University was through my brother who plays both baseball and football for the university. Once when visiting him on campus, I had the pleasure of meeting Coach Car. Coach Car was different than any other coach I had been exposed to prior. Coach Car was warm, enthusiastic, supportive and interested in me as opposed to the numbers I represented. I believed that Coach Car reflected the values and experiences of Quincy. Coach Car is the primary reason I chose Quincy University, and I have never regretted my decision.
