Biography

Career (2023-26): Moss appeared in 185 total games across her collegiate career, spending one season at Moberly Area Community College before playing three seasons with the Hawks. She finished with a .284 batting average, .318 on-base percentage, .444 slugging percentage, and .762 OPS.

Across her career, Moss totaled 158 hits, 33 doubles, seven triples, 14 home runs, 101 RBIs, 249 total bases, 90 runs scored, 23 walks, five hit by pitches, and nine stolen bases. She also recorded 41 career multi-hit games.

2026 (Senior): Moss appeared in 52 games and made 51 starts at shortstop during her senior season. She hit .206 with a .256 on-base percentage and a .413 slugging percentage, tying for the team lead with seven doubles and 33 RBIs while leading the Hawks with eight home runs. She also added one triple, 19 runs scored, nine walks, and two hit by pitches.

Moss recorded nine multi-hit games during the season, highlighted by the first multi-home run game of her career in game one against Indianapolis (3/15/26). She also surpassed 100 career RBIs with a two-run home run on Senior Day against Missouri-St. Louis (4/26/26), becoming one of the few Hawks to reach the milestone.

2025 (Junior): Moss had a breakout junior season for the Hawks, leading the team in every major offensive category. She posted a .356 batting average, .383 on-base percentage, and .616 slugging percentage while recording 52 hits, 15 doubles, four triples, five home runs, and 35 RBIs. She also scored 32 runs and struck out just 12 times in 146 at-bats.

Moss finished the season with 16 multi-hit games and 11 multi-RBI games, including a four-RBI performance in game two against Drury (4/6/25). She also put together a season-long 14-game hitting streak.

2024 (Sophomore): Moss appeared in 38 games and made 36 starts during her first season with the Hawks. She hit .224 with two doubles, one home run, and nine RBIs. Moss made her Quincy debut against Davenport (2/18/24), going 1-for-3 with an RBI. She later hit the first home run of her collegiate career in a win over McKendree (4/20/24).

2023 (Freshman at Moberly Area CC): Moss put together a strong freshman season at Moberly Area Community College, posting a .343 batting average, .368 on-base percentage, and .434 slugging percentage. She recorded nine doubles, two triples, 24 RBIs, and struck out just 11 times across 147 at-bats.

Moss made her collegiate debut against Jackson State Community College (2/18/23), going 1-for-3 with a run scored. She finished the season with 12 multi-hit games and six games with three or more hits, highlighted by a 4-for-4 performance with four RBIs in a 12-10 win over Metropolitan Community College (4/11/23).

Personal: Kenzie Moss joins the Hawks after spending one year at Moberly Area Community College. A native of Monroe City, Missouri, Moss graduated from Monroe City High School, where she was a three-sport athlete for the Panthers, competing in softball, basketball, and track.

In addition to her athletic involvement, Moss was a member of the National Honor Society during her high school career. She is the daughter of Marsha and Robbie Moss and has one sibling, Madison. In her free time, Moss enjoys spending time with friends.
