Biography

2025 (Sophomore at Lamar State): In her second season, Ingle appeared in 45 games and totaled 124 at-bats, hitting .315 with seven doubles, two triples, and one home run while driving in 22 runs and scoring 21 times. She posted a .366 on-base percentage and a .472 slugging percentage. For the second straight season, Ingle was outstanding defensively, committing just one error in 155 total chances for a .994 fielding percentage and throwing out 39.3 percent of base runners (11-for-28). She recorded 10 multi-hit games, including her first career three-hit performance in a 10–8 win over Blinn College (4/2/25), and put together a season-long six-game hitting streak.

2024 (Freshman at Lamar State): As a freshman, Ingle appeared in 56 games and totaled 52 at-bats, posting a .115/.207/.192 slash line. She recorded one double, one home run, and three RBIs, while also stealing five bases and scoring nine runs. Defensively, she was a force behind the plate, finishing with a .988 fielding percentage with just two errors in 166 total chances, throwing out 51.5 percent of base stealers (17-for-33), and allowing zero passed balls.

Ingle made her collegiate debut in a 6–3 win over Midland College (1/26/24), recording her first career caught stealing. She picked up her first collegiate hit and first multi-hit game in a 20–3 victory over Cisco College (1/27/24), going 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI, and three runs scored. Her first career home run came against Baton Rouge Community College (2/21/24), driving in two runs.

Personal: Karlie Ingle is from Port Neches, Texas, and attended Port Neches–Groves High School, where she earned Second Team All-District honors as an outfielder. She is the daughter of Jay and Jaime Ingle and has siblings Tatum Warwick and Taylor Trahan.

Karlie spent two seasons playing softball at Lamar State College–Port Arthur, collecting a Golden Glove Award, Second Team All-Conference recognition in both years, NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors in consecutive seasons, and making the President’s List both years. Outside of softball, she enjoys lifting weights, reading, and country line dancing, and knows American Sign Language (ASL). Her favorite athlete is Danielle Lawrie, and she is a fan of the Houston Astros.
