Biography

2024 (Senior): As a senior, Great appeared in 22 games and made 16 starts, where she had 39 at-bats and hit .128 with a .190 on-base percentage and a .154 slugging percentage. She made her collegiate debut against Davenport (2/18/24), where she recorded her first career hit. She tallied her first career extra-base hit with a double against Wayne State (Neb.) (3/8/24) and drove in her first RBI against Tiffin (3/9/24) with a run-scoring single.

Personal: Specht is a Coal Valley, IL native and is a Chemistry Forensic Science major at Quincy University. Specht is the daughter of Tony & Jenny and has two older siblings, Ella and Brock. Specht is a graduate of Moline High School, where she ended with a 3.7 GPA, adding to the National Honor Society and Honor Roll. Earned Quad City Times All-Metro First Team 2018 and Quad City Times All-State Honorable Mention in 2017 and 2019. Won a class 4A regional championship in 2019, a class 4A sectional championship in 2019, and a class 4A elite 8 in 2019.

Why I chose QU
I chose QU because of the small campus and the welcoming feel it provides. Also, I play softball, and the players and coaches are all welcoming and nice.
