Personal: Eileen McGinnis hails from Ellisville, Missouri, and is a proud alumna of Marquette High School, home of the Mustangs. She is the daughter of Dan and Bridget McGinnis and built a stellar legacy both on and off the field. Eileen spent two years at St. Louis Community College before coming to Quincy.

A two-sport athlete, Eileen played four years of varsity softball and basketball, but it was on the diamond where she truly shined. As a pitcher, she racked up a career record of 37-12, maintained a 2.21 ERA, and struck out 222 batters. At the plate, she was just as dominant, blasting 13 home runs, driving in 106 RBIs, and posting a .368 career batting average. She even holds a Missouri state record for most RBIs in a single game (11).

Her achievements include:

  • 4-time All-Conference selection
  • 2017 Missouri Class 4 State Champion
  • Appearances in three Missouri Final Fours (2nd in 2015, 1st in 2017, 4th in 2018)
  • Second Team All-State (2017)
  • St. Louis Post-Dispatch Fall Softball Player of the Year (2017)
  • Named to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch All-Decade Second Team (2011–2020) at 1B

Off the field, Eileen is just as accomplished. She is a member of Kappa Delta Pi, the National Education Honor Society, and serves on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC). A fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, she brings a mix of fierce competitiveness and leadership to everything she does.
