Sarah Emerich begins her second season as an assistant coach for the Hawks.
Last season the Hawks went 21-27 and had a team ERA of 5.82. Freshman Mac Kenzie Collier collected 11 wins and held opponents to a .260 average. Collier finished with 86 strikeouts in 135 innings in her first season. Megan Sharpshair and Morgan Heckman each collected All-GLVC honors in Emerich's first season.
Emerich comes to Quincy after spending four seasons at Manchester University in North Manchester, IN. While at Manchester she served as assistant coach, recruiting coordinator, academic and travel coordinator, as well as Senior Women's Administrator.
During her tenure, Manchester won 60 games, had 12 players named All-HCAC and two Freshman of the Year.
As a player Emerich was an Academic All-American while pitching at West Liberty University.
