Brooke Gajewski

Brooke Gajewski was named assistant coach of the Hawk softball program in the summer of 2020 and will enter her second season with head coach Carla Passini. 

Gajewski is a native of Kronenwetter, Wisconsin, and she finished out her playing career at McKendree University in 2018. At McKendree, Gajewski shined offensively, where she was named 2018 NFCA Division II All-American, First Team All-Region and First Team All-GLVC on her way to helping the Bearcats reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history. She set a McKendree single-season record with 38 walks and tied the program record with 16 home runs.
 
She served as the ThunderJaxx 16U Head Coach for a year and has helped out at several camps and clinics while also giving lessons. While at McKendree, she was also awarded the Presidential Scholarship, the McKendree Leadership Award, and the Vollintine Scholarship.
 
Gajewski graduated from McKendree in May of 2018 with Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in exercise science and sports performance.
