Annika Gels joins the Quincy University softball coaching staff after five years at G-MAC member Thomas More University in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
A five-year starting pitcher, Gels holds the career record for career strikeouts for the Saints. She also captained the Saints for three years, which included the Saints' exciting 27-19 season in 2023 where they made a deep run in the Mid-South Conference Tournament.
Gels completed her bachelors degree in accountancy with a minor in business administration while giving pitching lessons and coaching the Bison of Beachwood High School. While at Quincy, she will continue to work toward her masters in business administration, also from Thomas More.
