Personal: Gianni Lopez, from Mérida, Venezuela, attended U.E Colegio La Salle and has had an impressive tennis career. He played for two years at Collin College, where his team finished 5th in the national championship for JUCO both years. Gianni also represented Venezuela in the South American Games in 2018 and was ranked No. 2 in his country in both the U14 and U16 categories.

Outside of tennis, he enjoys playing video games and soccer. He looks up to sports legends Roger Federer and Lionel Messi and is a dedicated fan of FC Barcelona.
