2025-26 (Senior): Danso appeared in 24 games with 23 starts during her senior season with the Hawks. She averaged 10.7 points, a team-leading 5.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1.4 steals across 22.5 minutes per game. She also led Quincy with 2.0 offensive rebounds per contest.
Danso shot an efficient 57.9 percent from the field and 73.2 percent from the free throw line. She scored in double figures 15 times, led the Hawks in scoring seven times, rebounding seven times, and steals eight times. Danso recorded one double-double, had two games with 10 or more rebounds, and scored a career-high 21 points against Indianapolis (2/28/26).

2024-25 (Junior): Danso appeared in and started all 33 games for the Hawks during her junior season. She averaged 8.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game while continuing to provide a strong defensive presence.
Danso led the team with a 56.6 percent field goal percentage and 32 blocks, averaging 1.0 block per game. She was also efficient at the free throw line, shooting 76.8 percent. Defensively, she averaged 1.1 steals per game, led the Hawks in steals 10 times, and led the team in blocks 15 times throughout the season. Danso also scored in double figures 10 times, grabbed 10 or more rebounds in seven games, and recorded four double-doubles.
2023-24 (Sophomore): Chomp started all but one game during her sophomore season with the Hawks, averaging 8.8 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. She shot 54.8 percent from the field while totaling 44 blocks and 21 steals.
Chomp was one of the top rebounders in the GLVC, ranking second in the conference with 93 offensive rebounds and eighth in rebounds per game. She scored in double figures 10 times and recorded three double-doubles, including two games with 16 rebounds.

2022-23 (Freshman): Chomp appeared in 25 games with two starts during her freshman season with the Hawks, averaging 11.0 minutes per game. She shot 52.1 percent from the field while totaling 77 rebounds, nine blocks, and seven steals.
She made her collegiate debut against Ursuline (11/12/22), finishing with four points, four rebounds, and one block. Chomp scored in double figures once, recording her first career double-double against Hannibal-LaGrange (11/22/22) with 16 points, 11 rebounds, two blocks, and two steals in 26 minutes.

Personal: Acheampomaa “Chomp” is a native of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, and a graduate of Simley High School. She is the daughter of Fransica Akoto Danso and has two siblings, Jonna and Tiwaah. Her sister, Tiwaah, played college basketball at Bradley University.
At Simley, Chomp was a five-year letterwinner in basketball and surpassed 1,000 career points. She was a two-time All-Conference selection, earned All-State Honorable Mention recognition, and was ranked the No. 32 player in Minnesota by Prep Girls Hoops. She helped lead Simley to a third-place state finish in 2020, along with two conference championships and two AAU summer state titles. Chomp was also a three-year letterwinner in volleyball.
