Biography

2019-2023 (Upper Iowa): As a Peacock, was on the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference All-Academic Team of Excellence from 2021-2023. He held three records with the Peacocks, including the 10K cross country record at 33:05, the 800-meter run at 1:58, and the 600-meter run at 1:24. Goranson was a NSIC conference qualifier for the 600-meter run (indoor) in 2022 and 2023 and a conference qualifier for the 800-meter run (outdoor) in 2021, 2022, and 2023. 

Nathan Goranson is a graduate transfer out of Greeley, Iowa, transferring from new-GLVC member, Upper Iowa University. Son of Dan and Kim, Nathan went to West Delaware High School where he was a four-year honor roll student, a class 3A state qualifier for the 4x800 and cross country, and a team captain in both cross country and track & field. His hobbies include watching Marvel and Star Wars movies and watching the Iowa Hawkeyes, Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bulls, and Cedar Rapids Roughriders. Goranson has three siblings--Nicole, Brandon, and Kayla.
