Quincy University Hawks

Personal: Logan Dennis is a native of Orrick, Missouri, and a graduate of Orrick High School. The son of Robert and Amie Dennis, Logan grew up alongside his siblings, Derrick, Cole, and Abby. He was highly active in the classroom and around campus, serving as Student Council President and an FFA Officer while earning A Honor Roll recognition.

A multi-sport standout, Dennis excelled across several athletic arenas during his high school career. In track and field, he was a four-time state qualifier and conference champion in both the triple jump and long jump, while also claiming a sectional title in the long jump. He helped set the school record in the 4x1 relay and posted top marks of 12.8 meters in the triple jump and 6.3 meters in the long jump. On the field and court, Dennis earned all-conference honorable mention as a kicker in football, helped his basketball team reach sectionals, and was part of squads that captured three district championships and two I-70 Conference titles.

Outside of competition, Dennis enjoys playing pickup basketball in his free time. His favorite athletes include Michael Jordan, his brothers, and Josh Allen, while he cheers for the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Royals, and Team USA.

I chose QU because I liked where I saw myself at, and I knew I had a good group of people around me who would help me develop as a jumper.
