Quincy University Hawks

Personal: Jerron Baker, from Banning, CA, attended Sierra Vista Mountain Lions High School. He is the son of Johnny Baker Sr. and Erika Baker and has three siblings: Johnny Baker Jr., Jack Baker, and Jamison Baker. His father, Johnny Baker Sr., played football at Quincy University, where he was a team leader in tackles from 1996 to 2003.

Academically, Jerron graduated within the top 100 of his class, earning the Star Graduate honor and a CCR diploma. He was a dual-sport athlete, excelling in track and field and football while also managing the high school wrestling team.

Jerron holds school records in both the triple jump and long jump and is a back-to-back Class 4A State Champion (2023 & 2024) in triple jump. His personal bests include a 47 ft 1 in triple jump and a 23 ft long jump.

Outside of sports, Jerron enjoys weightlifting, playing video games, and board games. His favorite athlete is Christian Taylor, and he supports the Chargers, Dodgers, and Golden Knights.

Why QU?
I chose QU because I felt that this was the place I needed to be. I saw an amazing opportunity in front of me, and I decided to grab it. God has a plan for everyone, and this is the plan for me, but this is only the beginning of the journey.
