Quincy University Hawks

Personal: Jarvis Thompson is from San Francisco, California, and attended Galileo Academy of Science and Technology, where he played for the Lions. He spent his first collegiate season at Hiram College before transferring to Quincy University. Thompson is the son of Ashley Hill and has four siblings: Aryiane, Kadeem, KarMa, and Raheem.

A multi-sport athlete, Thompson competed in both basketball and track during his junior and senior years of high school, earning Most Improved Player and Defensive Player of the Year honors in basketball, along with Athlete of the Year recognition in track. He earned CIF San Francisco All-City honors, placing first in 2023 and third in 2022, and posted marks of 22 feet in the long jump and 44 feet in the triple jump. At Hiram, he set the indoor triple jump record and earned All-NCAC Conference honors.

Thompson was also active off the field as a BSU treasurer during high school. Outside of athletics, he enjoys gaming and playing basketball. His favorite athlete is Carmelo Anthony, and he is a fan of the Chicago Bears and Philadelphia 76ers.
