Ryan Palm

Ryan Palm enters his second season (2025) as the head cross country coach and assistant track and field coach. Palm begins his tenure as a head coach at Quincy after a two-year stint at Heidelberg University as their XC/TF graduate assistant coach. 

During his time at Heidelberg, Palm coached three all-conference runners and obtained his Masters in Business Administration. 

Prior to Heidelberg, he worked with the cross country and track teams at his alma maters, Woodridge High School and Woodridge Middle School. He helped create training plans for tow state championship teams--cross country in the fall of 2020 and track and field in the spring of 2021. He also had the pleasure of developing three individual state champions and 11 all-state runners. 

Palm completed his undergraduate degree at Kent State University and was a part of both the cross country and track and field teams. With the Golden Flashes, Palm competed on teams that finished in the middle of the Mid-American Conference pack. He graduated from Kent State with a Bachelor's degree in Sport Administration in 2021.

In high school, Palm was a two-time all-state runner and a part of the 2016 Cross Country State Championship team.
