Mark Marsot began as Quincy University's volunteer assistant coach in 2017. Marsot was a USPTR certified instructor from 1987-1993 and currently is a USPTR certified professional.

Marsot is a longtime physical education teacher and tennis coach in Keokuk, Iowa. He served as the head tennis coach for both the boy's and girl's teams at Keokuk High School from 1988-2016. He led the boys team to a 3rd place finish in singles and a 2nd place finish in doubles at the Iowa State Finals in 1993. His team also placed 5th in doubles in 2013 and also finished in 4th place in doubles the following year. 

Marsot was also the Head Tennis Director at Camp Echo Lake in Warrensburg, Kentucky from 2009-2015.

Marsot has been married to his wife, Laura, for 45 years and has three children. His oldest son attended the Air Force Academy where he also played tennis. His two daughters graduated and played tennis for Quincy University.
