Biography
Personal: Bauer, from Bremen, Germany, is a competitive swimmer who has made a strong impact in the sport. A member of the swim squad and a nationals qualifier, he placed 5th in the 50m breaststroke at Junior Nationals. He is also a multiple-state record holder and a North German Age Group Champion.
Outside of the pool, Juri enjoys drawing, listening to music, and following his favorite team, Werder Bremen. He looks up to Olympic swimmer Florent Manaudou for inspiration. Juri attended Oberschule an der Ronzelenstraße before coming to QU.
Why QU?
I chose Quincy University because of the variety of majors and the young swim team with new athletic possibilities.
