Biography
Personal: Jordan Settumba hails from Kampala, Uganda, and graduated from Aga Khan Academy Mombasa. He is the son of John Paul and Patience Settumba and has two siblings, Paloma and Petrinah.
A standout swimmer, Jordan was named Athlete of the Semester in 2022 and proudly represents Uganda on the national team. His passion for sports is matched by his admiration for elite athletes like Caeleb Dressel and David Popovici. He’s also a fan of Manchester United, the Golden State Warriors, and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Outside the pool, Jordan is a self-proclaimed foodie and movie enthusiast. He’s deeply committed to service, having participated in numerous community projects including beach cleanups, tree planting, charitable fundraisers, and cultural awareness initiatives.

I chose QU because with the help of the coaching staff, QU gives me the best opportunity to pursue my goals in the pool. Additionally, QU gives me the chance to pursue a degree that I have passion for in a welcoming community.
