Biography

Personal: Chase Slagter is from Hawthorn Woods, Illinois, and attended Lake Zurich High School, where he competed as a member of the Bears swim team. He is the son of Jeff and Jillian Slagter and has one sibling, Carson Slagter. His mother, Jillian, swam competitively at both the University of Illinois and the University of Minnesota from 1992 to 1994. Chase earned High Honor Roll recognition for his academic achievements and had an impressive swimming career, finishing 2nd at sectionals in the 500 freestyle during his senior year and placing 9th in the 1500 freestyle at the state level the summer before.

Why QU?
I chose QU because I loved the feel of campus and the people within the swim program.
