Personal: Wilson is a native of Auckland, New Zealand, where he attended Mount Albert Grammar School. Before coming to the Hawks, Taine competed for Samoa U19 International, which competed at the FIFA U20 World Cup Qualifiers. Outside of soccer, Wilson enjoys playing video games and watching his favorite soccer team, Manchester United. His favorite soccer player is Lionel Messi. Taine is the son of Susan and Patrick Wilson.
