Biography

2024 (Sophomore): In his first season with QU, Joao appeared in all 17 games for the Hawks, making 12 starts. He scored his first goal in a Hawk uniform against Upper Iowa (9/29/24), which ended up being the game-winning goal. Joao finished the season with 1057 minutes, which was fourth on the team, and three goals and three assists.

2023 (Freshman at Lewis & Clark): Appeared in 17 games, making nine starts, where he recorded his first collegiate point with an assist against Illinois Central College (9/16/23). Joao also scored his first goal in college against Illinois Central College (9/30/24). He finished the season with two assists and one goal on four shots, two of those being on goal.
