Quincy University Hawks

2024 (Sophomore): In his second season, Roke played in every minute of action for the Hawks. George led the conference for the second year in a row with 98 total saves and had the third-best save percentage in the GLVC with a .766%. Roke also had a GLVC season-high 12 saves in one game against Indianapolis (9/20/24). George finished the season with three shutouts and a GLVC-best 5.76 saves per game.

2023 (Freshman): As a freshman, Roke appeared and started in all 17 games, playing every single minute, except the 2nd half against Northern Michigan. He led the GLVC with a total of 87 total saved and had a save percentage of 0.702%. George had two shutouts on the season, recording his first career shutout against Missouri S&T (9/15/23).

Personal: Roke is a goalkeeper from Bromsgrove, England, where he attended South Bromsgrove High School. He was a two-sport star, as he played soccer and was a track and field athlete, competing in events such as the triple jump and high jump. In his free time, Roke enjoys lifting and watching his favorite soccer team, Plymouth Argyle FC. George is the son of Nicole and Duncan Roke and the brother of William and Jimmy. 

Why QU?
I chose QU because the soccer program had a large support for me as a player academically and athletically.
