Personal: Kurk stays in Quincy to join the Hawks, as he previously attended Quincy Notre Dame High School. Colin was a dual sport athlete, playing soccer and baseball. While on the soccer team, he helped the Raiders to a 1A state championship. He was also a successful baseball player, being named an honorable mention all-conference, and he helped his team to a third-place finish in 2A state. Colin thrived in the classroom as well, being an Illinois State Scholar. He is the son of Erin and Craig Kurk and the brother of Camryn.
