Personal: Canon Mathison, from Lake St. Louis, Missouri, comes to QU after competing at Liberty High School, where he helped lead the Eagles to three Class 4 District Championships during his career. He is the son of QU alumni Janel and Mike Mathison and has one brother, Jackson.

Why QU?
I chose QU because I have family here and it feels like a home away from home. I have always wanted to come here since I was younger to follow in my parents' footsteps.
