Quincy University Hawks

2025-26 (Sophomore): Cory competed in two tournaments during his first season with the Hawks, totaling five rounds. He finished the year with 444 strokes and averaged 88.8 strokes per round. Cory made his Quincy debut at the Arch Cup (9/2/25), where he shot a 167 (+25) with rounds of 83 and 84. His opening-round 83 marked his low round of the season.

Personal: Sam Cory, a Quincy, Illinois, native, played his prep golf at Quincy Senior High School before spending one season on the golf team at Carl Sandburg College. The son of Kjersti and Nick, with siblings Nick and Kate, Sam has built a steady career on the course and now continues it at Quincy University. His favorite athlete is Ludvig Åberg, and he is a fan of the Green Bay Packers.
