Quincy University Hawks

2025-26 (Junior): Martelli competed in two tournaments during his junior season with the Hawks, totaling five rounds. He finished the year with 410 strokes and averaged 82.0 strokes per round. Martelli’s top finish came at the Arch Cup (9/2/25), where he tied for 43rd after shooting a 155 (+13). He also carded his low round of the season at the event with a 76.

2024-25 (Sophomore): Martelli competed in one tournament during his sophomore season with the Hawks. He appeared at the Arch Cup (9/9/24), where he shot a 174 (+32) with rounds of 90 and 84.

2023-24 (Freshman): Martelli competed in four tournaments during his freshman season with the Hawks, totaling eight rounds. He finished the year with a 79.8 stroke average.

Martelli made his collegiate debut at the Wildcat Fall Classic (10/15-16/23), where he tied for 11th out of 37 golfers after shooting a 160 (+16) with rounds of 83 and 77. His second-round 77 marked his low round of the season. His best finish came at the Klash in Kentucky, where he placed 11th out of 46 golfers after shooting a 157 (+13) across two rounds.

Personal: Michael Martelli is from Effingham, Illinois, and attended St. Anthony High School, home of the Bulldogs. He is the son of Mike and Shelly Martelli and has three brothers: Patrick, Chandler, and Nick. Both Chandler and Nick Martelli are Quincy University alumni, continuing the family tradition.

In athletics, Michael was part of the Class 1A golf team champion in 2023 and boasts a personal best score of 69. Outside of golf, he enjoys traveling. His athletic inspiration is Tiger Woods, and he follows teams like the Indianapolis Colts.
