Biography
2023-24 (Senior): In his senior season, Kyle shot in one tournament, which was the QU Invite, and he shot 87-83 for a total of 170.
2022-23 (Junior): For the third straight season, Bovee participated in two tournaments and totaled four rounds, where he averaged 84.3 strokes per round.Â
2021-22 (Sophomore): As a sophomore, Kyle saw action in two tournaments for a total of four rounds, where he averaged 85.8 strokes per round.Â
2020-21 (Freshman): In his first season with the Hawks, Bovee golfed in two tournaments, totaling four rounds, where he averaged 90.8 strokes per round.
Personal: Kyle Bovee is from Wichita, Kansas, and graduated from Circle High School, where he competed for the Thunderbirds. An all-around athlete, Kyle was active in golf, football, and powerlifting, earning a 7th place finish at the Class 4A State Golf Tournament and placing 1st in squat as a freshman in powerlifting. Outside of sports, Kyle enjoys bowling, cooking, curling, and a casual game of pickleball. He’s inspired by Tiger Woods and is a dedicated fan of the Green Bay Packers. Kyle is the son of Terese and Jeff Bovee and has three siblings: Nick, Josh, and Ryan.
